Invisible Wind Factory Closed After Incident

The popular club and events space was closed down on Boxing Day night after a violent incident.

Police were alerted to the problem around 12:25am, with reports that a group of men had been assaulting those on the door. Three of its staff, all male, were subsequently taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries- one suffering a cut to the head.

Following this, management asked all clubgoers to leave, and closed the venue for the night. The police have decided to launch an investigation and will be examining CCTV. They are appealing to anyone at the club in the early hours of the 27th to come forward with information.

Invisible Wind Factory was officially opened in 2016 by the people behind the Kazimier. It has hosted a number of nights popular with students, including Cirque du Soul, ENRG and Abandon Silence.
