Headlong theatre group present The Glass Menagerie – Tennessee William’s classic four person memory play detailing the lives of the disjointed Wingfield family. The play is directed by a Ellen McDougall; a new, young director who’s work definitely needs to be seen to be appreciated. Details and tickets here.

Birdhouse

Unity Theatre – Thursday 8th October

For one night only Birdhouse visits the Unity Theatre, a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds that follows four survivors of the famous crow’s attack. The show even features live music and puppetery, making it much more than your average everyday play. Buy tickets here.

Cabaret from the Shadows

The Lantern Theatre – October 9th and 10th

Laughs, gasps and the unexpected will crawl onto the stage at the Lantern for two nights at the beginning of October. Creatures who live “outside our social constructs” are putting on a cabaret, sure to be filled with mischief. Buy tickets here.
