Interview: You Me At Six

This week nostalgia swarms The Mountford Hall as rockers You Me At Six return to the city as part of their Night People tour to promote their fifth studio album of the same name, soon to be released this coming January. The album, produced by Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Adele and James Bay) and mixed by Andrew Scheps (Black Sabbath, RHCP, Green Day) is destined to be a musical masterpiece and will confirm their place as mighty musicians. Wednesday’s crowd are in for a treat as YMAS veterans will relive their teenage years with favourites such as Hold Me Down and Sinners Never Sleep whilst letting their eardrums embrace recent singles Plus One and Night People as well as highly anticipated songs from their forthcoming album.

We caught up with frontman Josh Franceschi ahead of the band’s Scouse show to hear what’s next for YMAS, how much they’re looking forward to the gig, and why 2017 is going to be a ‘six pack’ of a year for them!
