Guild to give away free toast

Liverpool Guild of Students will be giving away free toast on Tuesday 20th October – but there’s a catch.

In a bid to get students to vote, the Guild will be giving away ‘toasted treats’ to everyone who goes to register to vote this Tuesday.

To register, you will need your National Insurance number and to go to the ‘street’ (outside the Courtyard) between 11am and 2pm.

The Guild have stated that this is part of their ‘Toast for Votes‘ campaign to try and get as many students as possible registered and voting.

If you register to vote, in May 2016 you can have a say in who becomes the new Liverpool Mayor, who becomes the Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner and also who your local councillor will be.
