Guild succeeds in campaign for more water fountains on campus

The Guild has announced that there are now more stations around campus at which you can re-fill your water bottle.

This announcement comes after many months of campaigning and encouraging students to reuse their bottles.

In order to remedy complaints about the lack of facilities for collecting water, the Guild said:

“We encouraged a group of students to carry out a water audit across campus. It turns out water fountains were very sparse – and when we presented this information to the University, along with the benefits of why having more would help students, the University agreed and so you can now find an  extra seven more water fountains across the university, inside The Guild, libraries and department buildings.

If you have any more ideas about how to make the university more sustainable, email the Guild your ideas via Dave or ku.ca1516164514.loop1516164514revil1516164514@fxel1516164514a1516164514/">Alex.
