Independent Liverpool announce new food market

Independent Liverpool has announced that it is opening its very own ‘Baltic Market’

If you ever visited Liverpool, or lived there, the chances are you will have heard of ‘Independent Liverpool’. If not, they are an organisation which started off as a blog which celebrated the best independent businesses in the city. Since then, it has developed into a company which runs various events and provides offers and memberships to the best of Liverpool’s businesses, whilst continuing to promote the thriving independent scene in Liverpool.

Last week, the founders announced that they are starting their very own food market, which will be housed in the iconic Cains brewery building. The market will serve food and drink from local restaurant businesses and street vendors, but will also provide live music and DJs in the true Baltic Triangle spirit.

This new business venture will not only build upon Liverpool’s unique independent scene, but will also continue Independent Liverpool’s support of local business and create jobs in the local area. The market will be free to enter and is set to open in the summer months of 2017.
